Meet Dr. Faith
Dr. Tobie Faith grew up in Half Moon Bay, California, USA, a small coastal town just south of San Francisco. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from the University of California at Davis in 1988 and began working there in the field of veterinary laboratory research, studying Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Her passion was for clinical medicine, and she graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 1999.
She began working as a general practitioner at small animal practices in the Sacramento, California area. Her special interests include internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, and she is experienced in all areas of small animal medicine in a general practice setting.
Her passion for veterinary medicine includes the relationships with her clients, colleagues, and most of all, her patients. She believes that companion animals greatly enhance quality of life for everyone and works to support the human-animal bond in areas of both physical and behavioral well-being. She can frequently be found sitting on the floor with her patients to promote a more relaxed interaction.
When she first visited New Brunswick, she fell in love with the area right away. She recently moved here to be with family and is excited about her adventure on the Atlantic coast! She lives in the Saint John area with her husband, a dog named Zoe, and 2 tabby cats, both of whom think they are dogs.
