Meet Dr. Isaza
Dr. Natalie Isaza graduated with high honors from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Following graduation, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Cornell University’s veterinary teaching hospital and then worked in private small animal practices in both California and Kansas.
Following her time in private practice, she worked at both Kansas State University and the University of Florida veterinary colleges for a combined 20 years, training veterinary students in spay/neuter surgery and shelter animal medicine. For the past 7 years, she has worked as the medical director and as a spay and neuter surgeon for a non-profit animal clinic in Florida.
She and her husband and adult son moved to New Brunswick in March 2026. She is married to fellow veterinarian Ramiro Isaza, and they have two human (now grown) children. They share their home with their non-human companions, two dogs (Mouse and Seamus) and three cats (Pulga, Lemur, and Decimal).
In her free time, Dr. Isaza enjoys exploring and hiking in New Brunswick and the Maritimes with her husband and son, travelling (especially visiting their daughter in Boston), and taking walks every day on the beach.
